Chapter 409: Hate Ellen

Jane smirked when she saw the panicked look that Princess Ema desperately wanted to hide. "This is my chance," Jane thought to herself.

"Your Majesty my uncle surely has a point, but I believe that what happened was just an accident. The part we walk through was very sensitive. One had to be careful not to fall. I doubt anyone would dare to deliberately hurt princess Ellen while putting themselves in harm's way," Jane spoke up for Ema.

Although she wanted to help save Princess Ema, she did not want to be caught in between. She did not know how much the king wanted to find the truth so she had to ensure she did not get herself into trouble.

"Richard, what do you think?" The king suddenly left the decision for Richard. Richard turned to the king, he was certain the man was not looking for the truth. At most he just wanted to clear Ema's name.
