Chapter 65: Death wish

Prince Sebastian's eyes snapped open a moment later and he was surprised to see a lady's head resting peacefully on his chest.

"Who dares?" he gritted his teeth as his hands went around her neck. But he paused before he tightened his grip. Why does this feel familiar? He reasoned within himself. At that thought, memory of the last moment before he fell unconscious played in his head.

He let go of her neck grateful that he did not snap it in a single move. "What the hell was she doing placing her head on my chest he asked himself as he relaxed back on the bed. He could not explain why he paused but he was grateful for it.

He was more grateful that the princess was unaware of his intention. He did not want her to get scared and run away from him. She was his sunshine and he will hate to see her avoid him.
