Chapter 4: Chapter four

Lexy and i made our way to the train station ,on our way to her house .we couldn't look at each other ,our faces flushed .We just held each others hand while walking in silence .The first silence we've ever had together ,and i'm sure there will be many more .We stood in line ,our hands leaving each other .And i found myself missing her touch ,but it wasn't long before our hands met again as we walked inside the train and sat next to each other .I felt myself smile when our fingers interlocked with each other .All though it felt like an entirnety untill we finally made it her place ,it was probally just twenty minuetes .She unlocked her door and we walked in .It was small ,like all japanese homes .I pulled off my shoes and put it down next to the door .Lexy did the same ." i keep forgetting to do that "she said laughing " didn't you do that in New York ?" i asked confused ." no we just walked in with our shoes on " she said ." that's new " i said laughing. she nodded laughing along " it is probally for you "she said as we both stood up and headed towards her kitchen .There in the middle was a counter ,almost like ours except it was smaller .Next to it was a few bar stool chairs ,which was a bit unuasual . I headed towards it and sat down on one .While lexy just stood across from me ,with her arms resting on the table .there was a sudden silence over us .All thought it was only a few seconds it felt like hours ,is this what it's always gonna be like ? did i ruin by kissing her back there ? But then again she kissed back .Or did she ? was it all in my head ? I frowned .Maybe she doesn't feel the same ."i'm sorry " i said not looking her in the eye ."for what ?"she asked looking confused ." for kissing you ,i didn't know you didn't feel the same -" i said ,already starting to speak my mind ." hey ,hey ,hey " she said stopping me and walking over to me .She put her hand on my face ,caressing my cheek ."Don't be sorry "she said smiling softly ." what ,why ?" i asked the one who was now confused.She laughed ,shaking her head and closing her eyes. "you don't know how long i wanted to kiss you" she said opening her eye's again and looking back at me ."oh" i said feeling like an idiot."I'm sorry , i wasn't thinking or i wa-" she cuts me off my kissing me .Automaticaliy I closed my eye's and kissed back.It wasn't like our first ,that felt as if it went on for ever.This one was short and sweet,Too short. Lexy pulled away ,making me frown."stop saying sorry" she said smiling " or i'd have to kiss you each time" she laughed at this.I blushed and looked away.I had the urge to say sorry for saying sorry ,but i stopped myself .I didn't want to embarrass myself anymore than i did. All though the thought of kissing her wasn't something i didn't disagree on.but the way she said it made it sound like a job,and i didn't want her to feel like that. Instead i nodded and we left the subject , even though it was still in the back of my mind. She stood up and headed to her cupboard. She took out spices and sause ,ready to start making food. While I took out my phone and messaged my grandma I'd be late.I turned off my phone and looked back up. Lexy was busy on the stove ,I couldn't see what she was doing. But sometimes she'd occasionally grab for a sauce or spice. We sat in silence again and it felt comfortable not like the time before where it felt very awkward.I always do this ,over think. When will i stop ? The day i die ? I sighed drawing Lexy's attention. She turnes and looked at me confused. "What's wrong ?" She asked stopping what she was doing. "Nothing,just tired" i said smiling at her. She made a 'OH' sound and her face Lit up instead of being worried. She turned and continued making food. I smelled the air ,this smell was unfamiliar. "What ya making ?" I asked curiously. "Nothing much ,just macaroni and cheese" she answered."Macaroni ? I think my grandma made it once" i said putting a finger on my chin ,looking up." Well i'm especially good at making it" She said not bothering to turn around. "Well then i'm looking forward to it" i said looking at her back that was turned to me.While we sat in silence again my thoughts went everywhere. And there was this one that was bothering me. What were we? Were we dating ? Are we nothing ? Or is ot normal to kiss and be nothing ? My head rested on my hand and i looked in the corner of the room.I felt the urge to blow up all my thoughts in lexy's face but after what happened later i stopped myself. I'll just ask her tomorrow. I thought and took this opportunity for something else."do you mind if i look around?" I asked her , obviously bored with just sitting and not talking. She turned around ,she looked hesitant but she nodded. I stood up and walked out the kitchen door. I walked into the living room. There was furniture but it was most likely the owner's. Lexy lived in apartment , though big it didn't wow you when you walked in. I looked from the painting on the walls and the decorations they used. The walls were beige, like most of the apartments room. and i went through each except for Lexy's bedroom because if i did it would feel like a disruption of privacy. I decided to go back to the kitchen and by the time i did the food was already ready. The smell hit my nose as i walked in the door. "that semll's amazing" i said with a look of awe on my face. Lexy looked up from grating the cheese. "thanks" she said and looked back down with a smile on her face " so you're done looking around?" she asked. i nodded and i picked up my plate she gave me. " yeah" i said and we went to the living room where a table sat and a few chairs. We headed it's way and sat down at a chair. Lexy and i across from each other.We put our hands together and said thank you for this food,Before we picked up our forks and began to dig in.I stabbed a few and twireld the cheese that Lexy put on around the fork. I put it in my mouth and my tastebuds was hit with amazing flavors.I moaned and Lexy oked at me with a knowing look. I gulped it down and quickly went for another mouthful, i did this until there was nothing left.I frowned at the empty plate ,although i was full.I looked up at Lexy who had a smirk on her face and was also done with her's." well ?" she asked rasing one eyebrow. "it was amazing" i said sitting back in my chair. Her smirk grew " i told you " she said.I nodded and took out my phone." wow ,I's really late i've got to go " i said aboutt to stand up. "hey, why don't you just sleep here ,it's way too late to go out alone" she said looking at her phone as well." are you sure ? i don't want to be bother " i said relaxing back in the chair."of course ,i don't want you to get hurt" she said looking at me with a worried expresion."well ok ,if it's fine with you" i said trying to let my blushing to stop. She nodded and stood up taking the plates with her.I sat while she went to the kitchen , she later had a bundle of pillows and blankets in her arms."are those for me?" i asked looking at her making a bed on her couch." no these are for me" she said finishing it off." what ? aren't you gonna sleep in your bed?" i asked confused. " no , you are gonna sleep in my bed" she said turning and looking at me."what ? but it's your bed" i said not wanting to kick her out of her own bed. "I can go -" i began but she cut me off." no ,you're staying and you're sleeping in my bed" she said putting her hands on her hips." are you sure?" i asked standing up ." yes,Now go to bed" she said. " ok , goodnight" i said turning around."goodnight"
