Synopsis
A week after an attack and occupation of their village, two boys take matters into their own hands and decide to flee in search of a better life.

Firstly, I am the author of this novel. This was the very first 'real' story I have written and with that, of course, it is not the finest piece of literature in the world but that does not mean that I do not try. I know very well where this story will lead and it is not something I will abandon or let it run forever without a conclusion, it will have a very definite end. It is a slow burn and every chapter switches view between the two main characters. One boy who thinks with his head and the other one with his heart, one who controls his impulses, and the other one who does. You will easily understand their personalities. The story starts a week after their village has been attacked and they both decide to flee to the nearby forest. In that forest, they find fairies, and accidentally the both of them crash into their ritual, which gives them both strange powers. After that event, the boys split and live out their different lives, one as a mage who joined the Mages Guild and the other one as an adventurer in the Adventurers Guild. And for now, that's it.
