Chapter 64: EROTIC DESIRES

The door slammed shut.

Briceus could tell from that singular act that Elizabeth had indeed divorced his presence in a rustied mood. He heaved a sigh and dropped the object of his study. This was not how he'd intended for breakfast to turn out that morning. 

After the circumstances of the thick smoke which had excited everyone to the extent of jumping them off their dream state, Briceus had been the most worried for Elizabeth even though some prideful logic had prevented him from making an immediate move to run a personal check on her.

At the first cock crow, he was swift to inform his royal messenger to have the Court lady send word to Elizabeth that she would be enjoying the privilege of dining with him that morning for breakfast. Now, breakfast has been ruined, mostly by him and partly due to her hormones.
