When Zen hears the news of Ken-going to the hospital, he is shocked. Zen asks Tom which hospital Ken is going to.
Tom asks from the Medical Teacher about the hospital; he replies that the nearest hospital is "TT Hospital".
Tom tells Zen it is "TT Hospital".
Zen informs “Tom that when you reach the hospital, look for "Doc. Leon" he will attend to Ken.”
When the call ends, Zen quickly contacts Doc. Leon, inform him about Ken's condition that he will be taken to hospital by someone named Tom. Zen asks Doc. Leon to save Ken at all cost and put him in the VIP ward and bill to him.
Doc. Leon reported that to save Ken, he needs to see how serious is the condition, but he will do his best.
Zen puts down the phone and quickly informs his PA that he needs to leave the office now. As, he came in late today because of last night but now he needs to leave for his beloved, Ken. Zen ordered to postpone all of the scheduled meetings of the day and further mentions to divert all calls to his PA. Zen informs his PA that he needs to go to the hospital immediately and take his coat and car key and leave the office. Zen walks to the car park and drive off to "TT hospital".
Tom and the Medical Teacher are still on their way to the hospital. Ken is still unconscious. Tom grabs Ken's hand tightly. (The Medical Teacher cleans Ken's hands with Dettol before Tom holds his hand.) {Hmm...Anyone else thinks what Tom's feelings for Ken? I guess, you will have to continue reading this story to see more in upcoming chapters!}
The Medical Teacher says, “It's bad now because we are stuck in a traffic jam.”
Tom looked away from Ken towards the road. Tom's face starts to turning green as he sees the heavy traffic jam, ahead about 1.5 kilometres away, he sees an accident that had happened before them. Tom thrusts palms down and asks Medical Teacher if there is any other way to take Ken to the hospital since it's another 15 minutes by car but due to the accident, it now seems like it would take more time.
The Medical Teacher says, “You can walk but I have to stay in the car or else I will be fined because it's not legal to park in centre of the road.”
Tom says, “Okay, I am going down and walk.” Tom piggybacks the Ken. Tom tells the Medical Teacher that he will meet him at "TT Hospital".
Ken is still unconscious on Tom's back.
Tom walks and it is faster than the car.
Zen hears the traffic jam ahead on the news radio and he quickly parks his car somewhere nearby. When he walked out of his car, he smelled Ken. Zen swift in the vampire way; he sees Tom and he quickly stops by the roadside near Tom and he walks towards Tom.
Zen shouts Tom's name.
Tom panting as he turns around and looks like it’s Zen.
Zen says, “Let me carry Ken” and tells Tom he will take care of him.
Tom nodded and said to Zen to let him know when Ken awakes.
Zen carries Ken like a princess and passes through the cars; they disappear.
Tom sees them disappearing and deep under his breath, says, “Ken, you must stay alive.”
Zen bought Ken to his car and drove to his Mansion instead of going to the hospital.
When Zen reaches his Mansion, he quickly brings Ken to a room and he gives his energy by kissing Ken.
Ken was pale after Zen gave his energy to him, his face colour is much better. But Ken is still sleeping.
Zen checks on him and finds out Ken wasn't suffering from anything, all that happens is due to stress that yesterday his brother was missing and it may be due to stress of studies, he vomited blood.
Zen sighs... He carries Ken to another room which has decorations of the shiny stars on the walls and glitters. Zen puts Ken on the bed and he draws the curtains.
Zen sits beside Ken, he almost forgot about Doc. Leon, calls him to inform him that Ken is with him and that he is not in life-threatening condition now. Zen tells “Doc. Leon as the school needs MC; he asks him to issue a medical certificate for 2 days (On Thursday and Friday) and asks him to drop by his Mansion later to check on Ken.” (Duration of this call is 1 hour due to discussing other things with Doc. Leon.)
After that, Zen calls Tom to tell him Ken is fine but he is still sleeping but no life danger. Zen tells Tom to inform Nic (Ken Younger Brother) that Ken is staying in his Mansion for 2 days and asks Tom to inform his teacher-in-charge that Ken is sick and needs to stay at home for 2 days; a medical certificate will be sent to school tomorrow morning.
Tom says “that he noted, and he will pass the message to the teacher-in-charge, and he puts down the call.” (Duration of the call to Tom is 15 minutes.)
Zen looks at Ken, he is still unconscious.
Zen goes out of the room and orders his servant to cook fish porridge and Milo for Ken.
Zen tells “Joe to check on Tom's background.” (Joe is staying in the Mansion.)
Zen walks to the room where Ken is resting and looks at Ken; he is still unconscious. He hears Joe calling him at the room door inform him that Doc. Leon is here to see Ken.
Zen quickly invites him in and asks him to look at Ken as he isn't worried about life-threatening, but due to Ken unconsciously sleeping and not yet awakening up, he is worried.
Doc. Leon took out the Blood Pressure equipment, checked Ken's Blood Pressure, and his temperature. Doc. Leon tells “Zen that he needs to strip Ken top naked as he needs to examine his body to see whether any injuries caused Ken to be unconscious.”
Zen permitted and he strips top Ken clothes Doc. Leon notices there are some blue marks on the back and head; there is a lump.
Doc. Leon says to Zen that he needs to check Ken's bottom legs asking Zen to strip Ken's bottom pants because he needs to thoroughly check Ken if there are any other injuries.
Zen strip Ken pants and Doc. Leon checks for no leg injuries.
Doc. Leon informs Zen, “Ken's injuries are from few days ago, almost about 2 weeks. Due to the injuries on the back and head lump, which could lead to the reason; why Ken is in a coma.” Doc. Leon asks Zen, “If Ken had any problems eating or sleeping?”
Zen says, “No, Ken doesn't show any problems.”
Doc. Leon informs that other than that, there isn't any life-threatening if for these 2 weeks; he didn't have any problem eating or sleeping. But for now Doc. Leon's advice is to bring Ken to the hospital for CT brain scan to check there aren't any other problems.
Zen says, “Okay, we will take him to the hospital for a CT brain scan” and ask, “Does he need to be admitted?”
Doc. Leon says that it depends on the results, as the results will be out in 3 hours; until then, they have to wait in the hospital. Doc. Leon says, “I will drive, let me take all of you to the hospital.”
Zen and Ken in Doc. Leon’s car, Zen calls his chauffeur to be on standby since he will be at "TT Hospital". (Means to park Zen car nearby).
They arrive at the hospital after1 hour. Doc. Leon quickly brings Ken into the CT room and does a scan for him.
While Zen is waiting outside, he just couldn't think that after finding Ken, this could happen. Zen says, “I should have found him earlier on, maybe he wouldn't have fallen.”
Ken was still in the CT scan room and Doc. Leon took all the parts that he needed to scan.
Meanwhile, Zen calls Tom, telling him that Ken is in the "TT Hospital" doing a CT scan right now and tells him to inform the school that Ken is still unconscious, although not life-threatening but he is not waking up yet, and he might not be able to attend school for a while.
Tom says, “Noted” and asks Zen, “In which room number is Ken warded?”
Zen says, “I have to wait for the CT scan results and the room number are not available yet as he is still in the CT scan room.”
Tom says to Zen, “When the ward and room numbers are available, let me know so that I can visit Ken.”
Zen says, “Okay.”
Doc. Leon comes out of the room and tells Zen that we have to sit and wait for the result now; in the meantime the VIP room he prepares for Ken is 2501. Doc. Leon puts a hand on Zen's shoulder and says, “I will do what I can, see you later.”
Zen sees the nurses coming out and he goes near to them, the nurses push the bed Ken laid on and off to the lift to Level 8, as they walk towards Ward 2, VIP Room 2501.
They placed the dripped liquid on Ken and checked his Blood Pressure and they left.
Zen looked at Ken, still unconscious. Zen handphone suddenly rings an unknown number. (Zen doesn't have Nic’s handphone number) Zen answers the call and hears a voice crying and he sounds familiar.
Zen says, “Hello, who is this? Please don't cry, I can't hear you.”
“This is Nic, is my brother Ken with you, and how is he now? I heard from Tom that my brother is in the hospital now?”
Zen replies, “Yes, your brother is with me in TT Hospital now but he is unconscious thus he is unable to talk to you. You don't have to come here now as we are waiting for your brother's CT scan results. If there is no problem, he can be discharged once he is awake. Please go and sleep don't worry, I will take care of your brother. I will call you back later.”
Nic says, “Okay.” (Zen saved Nic's number on his handphone.)
Zen sighs... As he didn't sleep nor drink blood for 2 days, his power might not wake up Ken; Zen sees that evening has come. Zen gives a call to Joe to tell him to bring a bottle of blood as he is hungry. Zen says, “I will wait for you at the car park area.”
Joe says, “I will be there soon.”
Zen quickly left Ken in the room as he felt he might not be able to bear the hunger, and suddenly might attack Ken (This is not good).
Zen walks down the stairs as he is hungry; his handphone suddenly rings.
Zen answers the phone, “My Lord, where are you?” (Joe always calls Zen my Lord!) “I am at the staircase near the car park exit A; I am unable to walk there, can you come here.”
Joe replies, “Yes, my Lord.”
Joe takes a bottle of blood with him, quickly rushes to exit A; sees Zen is almost falling to the ground; he quickly grabs Zen, opens the bottle of blood, and pours it into Zen's mouth.
Zen as he drinks the blood, he slowly gains his strength but not to the fullest, only half of it. (Joe is a very sincere person and he loves his master as a brotherly love.)
Zen now stands up and asks Joe to bring him to his car, as in the car; there are more bottles of blood.
Joe held Zen to his car and laid him down in the front seat. Joe quickly shut the car doors and pulled down the black windscreen and all car windows. Joe quickly opens up one bottle of blood pouring into Zen's mouth, as Zen finishes one bottle of drink Joe opens up another bottle.
Zen suddenly felt someone pass by their car, but the person didn't notice much about Zen's car. Thus Zen let it go. (It's someone that knows Zen, but because he doesn't want to get into trouble, he pretends not to notice Zen.)
Joe is busy opening up bottles of blood to pour into Zen’s mouth.
After 15 bottles of blood, Zen still does not fully recover because he still lacks sleep, due to lack of sleep; he is drinking blood more than normal.
Joe tells Zen that all the bottles are finished; no more blood is left. It is not enough blood; Zen needs more blood than usual appetite. Joe looks at Zen.
Zen says, “This is enough, at least for now, it would be enough to bring Ken home.” Zen tells Joe to accompany him to see Ken.
Joe accompanies Zen up to the wardroom where Ken is lying.
By this time, the result came out seems that 3 hours fly very fast.
Doc. Leon comes to the room and greets Zen. Doc. Leon smiles at Zen, “Good news, Ken has no other major injuries in the brain,” Doc. Leon says, “but you're looking pale, are you alright?” Doc. Leon holds on to Zen's shoulder.
Zen says, “I am alright, it's just a lack of sleep.”
Doc. Leon says, “Take care.”
“The unconsciousness of Ken might be due to lack of sleep,” Doc. Leon says, “Rest assure, there isn't any other problem, and Ken should be awake soon. When Ken is awake he can leave the hospital.”
Zen says “thank you to Doc. Leon.”
Doc. Leon left the room.
Shortly after Doc. Leon left the room.
Ken wakes up and looks at Zen and Joe.
Zen ordered Joe to get the discharge documents from the hospital, so that he can sign and takes Ken home.
Joe left the room.
Zen says to Ken, “As you are awake, we are going home.”
Ken says, “Where am I now?”
Zen replies, “You are in the hospital, you fainted and lost conscious. Tom informs me.”
“Oh yeah, I was eating with Tom and I vomited blood. How long have I slept?”
Zen says, “Since the afternoon you fainted until now it’s 11 pm.”
Knock... Joe comes in; here are the discharge documents.
Zen quickly signs them and passes them to Joe, Zen orders him to sign the documents from the hospital quickly so Ken can leave now.
Joe rushes out and in less than 10 minutes the documents are signed by the hospital and Ken is discharged.
Zen grabs Ken in his arms and Joe opens the car door for them to go in.
Joe drives back to the Mansion. (Zen thinks he is lacking sleep and Ken is also lacking sleep?)
They reach the Mansion in 1 hour.
Zen quickly brings Ken to the Mansion in his room. Zen says “we have to get enough sleep now.”
Ken is surprised, but he just closes his eyes and sleeps.
