Chapter 58: DETOUR

Ketki was soon out of her residence and with us.

She looked beautiful and elegant just like I remembered. We both took a moment to look at each other before she finally came over to greet us.

As was expected, Adishri was beside her as if her shadow.

I made quick introductions of the three people.

Baji was a thorough gentleman with his attitude towards the ladies. I could see that even Adishri had a positive impression of him even if this was but her first time meeting him.

Adishri having led the life she has, was more mature than most girls her age. She was well aware that other than their own personal servants or acquaintances, the nobles rarely showed much respect for other underlings. Especially women or girls.

We quickly left for our tour in the carriage that was arranged just outside.
