Chapter 179: man in the dark

"You? What are you doing here?" she asked angrily but could barely conclude her sentence because her stomach would not permit her.

Jamiel said nothing and just stood there quietly. His brow was raised in the manner that said, is that how to say thank you for saving my life?

Riveria scoffed. "Why are you making that face you narcissistic monkey?"

She had met him once at the market and more than anyone she had ever met, he was as rude and proud as a peacock and although she could not deny that he had a pretty face, that was the only good attribute she could find in him.

On the very first day they met, she was running away from someone she owed money to and he was of great help but catching her and giving her off to the person that was chasing her. How cruel?

That day, she had to pay back to the last dime and she promised to make him pay the next time she ever saw him but that never happened until today.
