"There. Now your future husband should be very jealous of me," I glared at him and pushed away, moving to walk back into the room and I heard him chuckle before his footsteps followed me.

He just had to ruin the moment.

I was going to leave the room but a sudden arm took hold of my wrist and spun me around, pulling me forward and I felt myself collide with his chest again. Vince chuckled, wrapping his arms around me and peppering kisses all over my head.

"I like you, Nora."

And just like that, he not only fixed the moment but made it feel like he never even ruined it.

My breath hitched and my heart rate spiked faster.

I'll never get used to it, this feeling in my chest that he made me feel so easily. According to his words, it would seem that he felt the same about me too.
