With that question being asked, her brows drew into a knot and three black lines appeared on her forehead. Her eyes looked at the pale young man intently, studying every inch of his expression. Kalliope was trying to scrutinize whether she should trust this person or not, and if the fact that he knew what happened to Argan was true.

Prince Revaz didn't seem to be offended either because the fact was they were indeed unfamiliar with each other. So, she couldn't very well trust him immediately and he much preferred his partner to be vigilant as well if they were to cooperate. If she were to believe just about anyone then, their plan would be doomed even before it took place. After all, the devils are masters in deception.
