Chapter 57: Unexpected Findings

The time had gone closer to dawn, just a few hours before the sun completely returned to its glory. It was the period where everything was supposed to be at the peak of tranquility. Yet instead of the peacefulness of witching hour, the capital was gripped in fear and the air was stained with constant voice of panic and concern.

People who had been on bed could be seen crowding the street with their nightgown layered with outer coat. However, despite their confusion, they tried to keep it on the low as not to frighten the children. Though the citizens remained on guard as they questioned the night patrol and the knights in shift tried as much as they could to keep everyone in order.
