They were silent inside the castle and no words were exchanged even though the place appeared as empty and abandoned as before. 

He simply assumed silence after the cross the threshold of the castle and Nesrin wondered if there was some way of Ezrahl knowing everything that happened within the walls.

She was still startled by what Izekiel and her conflicted thoughts chased away her sleep and made her feel weary.

Izekiel was not the same person as before.

But if he was a complete moroi, then shouldn't he be faithful to Ezrahl? or has the magic of the dark lord faded in its potential?

Has Izekiel turned into something else?

Was there a chance that Izekiel was not the true threat to everyone?

Perhaps he was simply different than the rest of the moroi. After all, the blood in his veins carried the marks of an ancient god.
