Chapter 129: To Nothingness

[Excrept from The Damsel of Death]

It was a cold night when the ashes descended from the heavens, falling upon the desolate land of nothingness. The winds silently screamed and mourned like her shattered heart. There was nothing that mattered anymore.

Ophelia lost the last person she cared for.

She survived and watched all her loved ones die. There was a weight on her shoulder, a weight on her heart that increased with every death. 

Heavens had blessed her with a power no one else can even imagine to have and the time had arrived for her to use it. She can not stay silent and let the wicked tyrant shed blood.

Her life only held one goal; vengeance.

She was filled with rage, but the sorrow soon overcame her. Perhaps it was her fault for not doing anything in time. There were signs, and she failed to be careful.
