Chapter 117: Quite Comfortable

Izekiel closed the door, and Nesrin watched him carefully. He didn't seemed different than usual and even appeared to be more serious and cold. His gaze was distant and yet somehow it carried a heavy intensity that could see through her very soul.

Nesrin realized that the strange crystal has effects similar to a strong wine, it had caused him to act unlike himself.

"It's cold tonight, let's... let's get you dressed first."

She can't let him stay like that any more, what if he decides to wander out again. That can cause a whole new scandal and if anyone were to recognize him, Nesrin can only imagine how bad it will be.

A corner of her lips lifted up as she turned away and walked towards her room. Izekiel was silent, then after a short pause he came inside as well.
