Chapter 43: Can't believe I asked..

Glamour's POV

Why the fuck are you sounding like some dumbstruck barbie Glam, snap the fuck out of it, my subconscious scolded but for some reason, I couldn't do that.

I felt trapped in the way his eyes held mine almost in a trance state and the way the corners of his lips twitched slightly to reveal his teeth only made me feel stupid.

"You'll bore a hole if you don't stop staring at me," he said and then let out a dark chuckle pulling my sense back to the present.

I wanted to yell curses at him but then I was reminded of how I needed to convince him that I have to stay until the event was over before I go with him and me yelling at him wouldn't be helping in any way.

"Oh, sorry, are you okay?" I asked in a sultry voice that made my whole body shiver involuntarily at how cringe I sounded.

"I'm fine, I think you're the one I should be asking, are you okay?" He directed the question at me his eyes trailing down my clothes.
