Zeir was no longer concerned about making too much noise. Whatever lay ahead, he was more than ready for it. He backed up and kicked the door of the next house. It slid off its hinges and clattered inside the building with a huge bang.

The loud-ass noise didn't shake the man standing at the table, even though the door passed a few inches away from his left ear. Through the darkness and over Zeir's shoulder, Agatha could clearly see the white hair of the old man.

Once inside, they both scanned the room. There was no sign of any abominations. Agatha's gaze turned to the man seated at the table, munching upon a fruit. She couldn't say what kind of fruit. Most certainly one native to Elytreea.
