Chapter 76: Welcome Back

Drake and Agatha slowly approached the village as the forest became scarcer and scarcer. Both the river stone houses and the manor with the white oak tree could be seen in the distance, and they both hurried, but for different reasons.

After being separated from Hope for so long, Drake was eager to see her again, as it had been a long time since he was close to her. Agatha wanted to implement a solution to rid herself of her problems, both dealing with the portal and the existence of Hope.

The sounds of the forest faded as they were overshadowed by the rushing of the human community. People were talking and laughing while doing their daily chores.

The commotion subsided as soon as the two entered the village. People stopped their activities, approaching to welcome their leader. Most were women dressed in their common robes of different colors.
