Chapter 65: The Quest

Drake stayed overnight in the manor, in the apartment reserved for important guests above the arched corridor. Therefore, those rooms were not used very often because not many people visited the village of the Reapers. Dust was spreading everywhere, a not at all subtle punishment from Agatha. In addition, the room was so small that its name seemed like a joke.

After Drake's speech, Agatha hadn't said a word and hadn't asked any more questions, though her inquisitive gaze and the desire in her eyes haunted Drake until morning.

The pale hand with long fingernails wiped the dust off the mirror to allow him to arrange his hair. The black strands of hair that accidentally hung in front of his face and on the sides in an apparent mess actually took him a long time to arrange daily.
