However, Anna decided not to alert Aiden about Kyle. 

If Kyle is really taken away by the Xander family, it will definitely make Aiden suspect the relationship between Kyle and the Xander family. 

And, if he starts to investigate this matter, he might actually backtrack it to her and if he is really as powerful as her cousin claimed, she is really doomed. 

After successfully convincing Aiden that Kyle is down with fever and is currently sleeping, she left the office as well, saying that she has to tend to Kyle. Fortunately, Aiden didn't suspect anything as he heard Kyle cough and clear his throat more than a couple of times yesterday night when they were in the elevator. 

Soon, Anna reached her penthouse and the first thing she did was to search his whole house in case there was any intrusion.
