Qihe learned about the news about his brother biting Juan and he really was surprised about it because he expected Fai to hold back. He has read that newbie vampires would have absolutely no control over their thirst but he expected his brother to do better. He was lying on his bed not really caring about the urgent and sudden meetings going on in his next room. The whole mansion has gone silent as everyone was silently involved in their activities. 

Shea was checking on the boy once in a while between her work just to make sure that he wouldn't run to Fai and worsen the situation. Fai was given another dose of blood from a blood bank which Ryan had a partnership from old days. Even though, Fai resisted in the beginning, he casually agreed on consuming it noticing the change in him. He was getting exhausted that the only way was to consume the metallic liquid which almost had him puke.
