Chapter 4: Cutting oneself into Greater Forms
[The weight of the Stars falls upon you]
I couldn't breathe, I couldn't move, I couldn't control myself. I could only spin in this starry sky.
Powerlessness, confusion, fear.And then, anger.
"STOP IT!! LET ME GO!!" I screamed, with all my might and heart, my veins popping and blood flowing in my body, my skin cracking and bleeding, hellike pain I couldn't bear, but I didn't want to feel these feelings ever again.
My kingdom fell before my eyes, my mother with a destiny unknown.
I have nothing, and I'm nothing. My presence could not change a thing. But I just can't accept this. "IF I do….everything would be for nothing, my mother's love, her care, her dedication to teach and train me, it would be all meaningless!! Even if I don't know what to do and who I'm! Even if I'm meaningless and nothing now! I must find something to love! Something to Hate! To desire and think about, to feel! I don't want to be just a Student and a Prince from a Dead Kingdom!!" My whole body was cracking, bleeding, shaking, breaking apart.
I continue to feel suffocated, continue to break apart, feel immense pain, but I screamed, screamed and tried to move, to breach, to stop spinning. I could feel the space around me vibrating a bit, so I tried harder and harder.
I wanted to give up, to just rest and be with my mother in whatever is beyond life. But she died so I could live...even if it hurts, I need to at least try to continue living, continue to move forward and find something to believe.
"AHHHH AHHHHH" My eyes popped like grapes being smashed between two fingers, my ears blew apart and I could no longer hear anything besides a horrifying buzzing, my voice eventually disappeared, becoming a silent scream in my heart.
Eventually, I started to become numb to pain, to the heaviness in my body, to the lack of air, to the spinning, It continued, never ending.
'Crack' A noise echoed in my mind, Everything froze in place, The void around me becoming colorful, warm and cold, sad and happy, a manifestation of different ideas, feelings and memories I was feeling.
I felt some kind of freedom, The weight was still present, but I could move a little, It was hard to breathe, but I could Breach, I was spinning, but I wasn't getting dizzy anymore

"HMM HMM-" I woke up, Vines holding my arms, legs and shutting my mouth, a soft, cold and wet piece of fabric lying on my forehead. I eventually stopped to move around, feeling burning pain all over my body.
"What a terrifying nightmare you Had. You almost ripped your flesh off with your nails" Julia spoke to me, her voice calm and relaxing, warm and soft, just like when we first met, lacking any flirtuous tone. "Hearing you scream and move around in the bed, I almost nailed a vine in your thighs, thinking you went crazy. But when I saw you tear your skin, tears in your eyes as you screamed...I just locked all your body with them." The vines let me go, I was no longer wearing the beast skin clothes Husky gave me, but a soft, white long pajama shirt that would go to my knees, many spots with stains of blood.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up" I whispered, lifting from the bed and bowing to Julia.
"Well, everyone here at least once slept with screams of pure anguish, either from others or from ourselves, so don't overthink too much." She smiled bitterly towards me, a certain sympathy in her gaze.
'Pop' She pressed a part of the wall, on the opposite side from the food one, and a repartition opened on it "Here are some clothes, going around wearing my bloody pajama will give them the wrong idea." She gave me a set of clothes similar to a Royal Servant to me, a simple black tuxedo with black and red details, some shorts and shirts made with rough fabric, and five boxer underpants. "This is for you, when your clothes get dirty, but them here and they will be cleaned."
I held the clothing in my hands, warm feeling my heart.
She got up from her bed, and went towards the closet, opening the left door of the closet, she pressed a bottom in the end of it, right between a green dress and a fancy maid black-red costume.
"Cling Cling Cling Cling" The Ground under the bed started to go up, I hastily jumped from it with the fear of being crushed in the ceiling, the bed stopped around half meter from the ceiling, under it the ground opened and a huge bathtub formed, filled with a green water and a scrubbing sponge floating on it.
"What a marvel thing." I whispered, putting my set of clothes on the table nearby and looking closer, only to receive a kick in my butt, falling into the water.
"Take a bath then change yourself, the right side of the closet is yours to store your clothes. See ya later." She got out of the bedroom, laughing a bit as she closed the door.
"HUGH, You are nasty!!" I screamed towards her, hearing louder laughter.
"What was that Nightmare, that feeling I felt..." I tried to remember it, The Heaviness and movement around me, the colors, feelings and songs suddenly filling the void around me.
"Splash...splash…" As I closed my eyes, I suddenly felt the heaviness again, the lack of air again and the spinning, but it was way weaker than before, I could feel the water moving, being pressed down, a flow coming to the bathtub from above and another going to an unknown place below.
'Stop' I thought in my head, trying to get rid of the movement and heaviness of the water, and as I opened my eyes I could see droplets flying in the air, rotating around me and falling back.
"What is this?! Force….Is this the Force Skill?" Mother taught me that Skills are what is the capacity to do something, an ability, an aspect that is beyond what a normal person has and attributes are a lifeform's characteristics in comparison to a pure and common version of it.
The very concept was introduced by some God that wanted all Life Forms to be able to analyse themselves better, induce their evolution and avoid regression. He Teached Spells and how to create objects that analysed someone with high precision.
"Hugh" I tried to control the Movement and Heaviness around me, but I ended up hitting the bathtub wall, making my whole body hurt. "What a ridiculously hard skill to master!" I got frustrated and stopped, scrubbing my body and diving into the water, trying to relax a bit.
But I could feel Everything around me in a certain way.."Awareness...isn't it?" I whisper to myself.
I was feeling painful all over, but this new feeling and ability to change things around me was too novel, it wasn't like magic, that you form a formula, input mana following it and things happen...It was like directly, with the move of your hands, moving things around you.
'Is this...a certain type of Divinity?.' I asked myself, getting out of the water and drying myself with a towel that was on the chair 'I guess this one is mine.' I placed the wet pajama in the right compartiment, and then changed my clothes to the simple black Tuxedo, boxers and pants set. organizing the rest of the clothes on my side of the closet.
"Let's see how today goes..." I whispered, opening the door before me. Determination and tiredness filling my eyes.
