The newly married couple arrived in their honeymoon destination and checked into their hotel. It was on the tip of the island, curved inwards so they could see the beautiful sea that she had seen countless times in movies.
So far the trip had not felt romantic as a group of guards shadowed them everywhere they went, trailing behind them with guns stowed away inside their heavy coats.
Finally, when they stepped into their room and Regina shut the door behind them. "Is it really necessary to have them follow us around?"
Paul set their suitcases off to the side then gripped her hips with his strong hands. "Just ignore them."
"But don't you think they are drawing more attention to us than if we were here alone?"
"If it was just me, I would have risked it. But with you, I can not afford to take any risks." He pressed his forehead to hers sending warm waves all through her body.
