Chapter 129: Present - 72 Paul's view

Paul did not know Regina had already expected him to be there. He had thought that she was going to be surprised but she did not react at all when she saw him on the couch. She set her backpack on the counter and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge.

"How was work?" Paul watched her stand at the counter in her t-shirt. It was tight across her chest and her slender stomach. It highlighted the deep curve in her waist, making her hips more pronounced. He felt she was even more beautiful than he remembered her.

"Good. How is sitting in my apartment?"

Paul loved it when she talked like a smartass. He found it oddly entertaining. "Good. I went through your underwear drawer. Nice selection."

She rolled her eyes. "You better not have. I will kick your ass."

"I would like to see you try."
