Paul wanted her around for entertainment. He wanted Regina around because they had amazing sex together. But that was it and nothing more. That was all I meant to him.

"You will get through it. The longing will pass, and you will forget about me like all the others." There was not a hint of venom in her voice. She told him the truth the whole truth.

Paul turned his head his way, with despair in his eyes. She was numb and could not feel a thing. There was no sympathy in her heart or anything else. All she felt was desperation for escape. She wanted to get as far away as possible she could get over him.

She wanted to forget about him. She wanted to forget all of this.
