Chapter 174: Virtuous Reinforcements (2)

When Malcom saw the woman, he instantly knew that she was a materializer. 

However, at that moment, a slim and muscular blond young man suddenly appeared in front of Malcom. 

Alarm bells rang within Malcom. He tried to move, but the man threw an incredibly strong kick to Malcom's side, aiming to stop him. 

The Marked raised his guard and the kick the man delivered was so strong that it nearly broke the Marked's arm even with his bone structure enhanced by the golem's rune.

Malcom felt the impact and the force pushed him to the side. He tried to control his movements by placing his hand on the ground to stabilize himself. 

Yet, just as he landed, the blond man who had kicked him was behind him. 

Malcom gritted his teeth in frustration. He could not see his movement, but he was determined not to be pushed around by the man. 

By placing his feet firmly on the ground, and taking his dagger, he created a shield to stop the attack.
