Chapter 117: More Training

Clare approached him and calmly took two discs, placing them on the bar, and easily lifted them. While she watched Malcom, her muscles were marked when the young woman said.

"You don't have any magic! So the amount won't help you, to move it, even the iota of magic you give has to be more intense than most other amounts of magic, or they won't move."

Malcom watched as the young woman did repetitions over and over again, she had lost all of her magic just like him, but she was moving the weights as if it were not a problem. 

At that moment, Malcom understood that training would be difficult. He calmly walked over to one of the machines and began trying to train at Clare's pace.

Two hours passed and Malcom, exhausted on the floor, looked at the ceiling, sweated profusely, and Clare got up and drank water. The girl was now simply wearing her tank top, and when he saw her arms, he could see the strength of her muscles.
