Chapter 73: Escape From The Deep(Part Two)

 Serenity could barely control the surge of power coursing through her. Every nerve in her body felt like it was being seared from the inside out. That, coupled with the intensity of the pressure made it feel like she was being slowly tortured to death.

 Matt was gritting his teeth so hard that he wouldn't have been surprised if he had cracked a tooth. The pressure was incredibly intense, even with Serenity trying to stabilize a pocket space for them. If this kept up much longer, they would most definitely die..

 As they swam through the hallways, Serenity and Matt kept their eyes open for any sign of Selena. They couldn't open each door and look in because it would take too long, but they were making enough noise to where she should hear them..

 'I just hope Selena is conscious enough to hear us.. I know she's not dead, I feel it.. She can't be..'
