Chapter 2: [01] Cecil Hendrix
--- Chapter 1 ---
*Chirp*
"Ah."
Birds could be seen chirping and flying around the House of Hendrix happily.
*Whistle*
A young boy could be seen laying on the ground, enjoying the wind and and sun while whistling a melodic tune.
'Mmhm.'
He then stopped whistling for a few seconds before humming a different tune.
'Mhmm.'
After a few seconds of humming, the boy finally opened his closed eyes.
Two orbs of silvery white were then revealed, looking like the ethereal moon shining in the darkest of days.
"Ah."
The youth suddenly stood up and began to stretch slightly before speaking with his childish voice.
"It's been 12 years, hasn't it."
The boy shook his head lightly and started yawning.
'I still can't belive that I got reincarnated into an eroge game. Especially when it was the best one I played, but...'
"Cecil! Mom is calling you!"
A feminine voice suddenly shouted inside of the mansion, making the boy snap out of his thoughts.
"Coming!", shouted the boy while ruffling his pinkish silver hair..
'I have too many death flags...'

"Cecil Hendrix! What have I said about leaving the house without permission!"
A beautiful woman with black hair and silver shouted at an extremely cute little boy with pinkish silver hair and silver eyes.
"I'm sorry mom..."
The boy said while looking up at the beautiful woman while the latter looked at him sternly.
She then continued doing that for a few seconds before sighing.
"The awakening ceremony starts tomorrow. Remember, don't do anything stupid while you are there."
The boy called Cecil looked at his mother in confusion and asked, "Why?"
The woman sat down on a chair and looked at Cecil with gentleness.
"The Emperor will be attending it as the Crown Prince has his awakening ceremony as well."
Cecil looked at his mother with an understanding gaze and nodded.
"Right."
The black haired woman suddenly stood up and kissed Cecil in the forehead before crouching down.
"Remember, we won't be disappointed even if you get a bad spirit."
Cecil nodded slightly which made the woman smile.
"Okay, go and talk to your sister she seems quite upset for some reason."
Cecil smiled and patted his chest before running away.
"Leave it to me!"
The woman's lips curved upwards a little when she heard what he said but it quickly froze when she heard another voice.
"Vivian! Amanda is coming today!"
The black haired woman raised and eyebrown and furrowed her eyebrows a little before shaking her head.
"Okay, I'll get everything ready then Mia."

Cecil walked up the stairs slowly and sighed lightly.
'The Crown Prince...he is one of the major characters that tried to kill me...'
Cecil started shaking his head and walked towards his sister's room while finishing his thoughts.
'The girl he loved somehow fell in love with me. He then found out and hated me because of this.'
*Creak*
Cecil opened the door slowly and peeked his head inside, only to be hit with a light slap that hit him in the nose.
"Ouch!"
Cecil stepped backwards a little and rubbed his face.
He then looked up at the person who hit him and sneezed.
"Eleanor! Why would you hit me!"
An extremely cute girl with pinkish silver hair and black eyes looked at Cecil with some anger.
"I told you to come and visit me but you were with Jack for the whole day. Take this as payback..."
Cecil widened his eyes a little before laughing awkwardly.
"Hahaha...I had something important to do!"
The girl called Eleanor looked at Cecil and smirked slightly.
"Oh yeah? What was it?"
Cecil froze his movements and looked to the side quickly.
"I...was getting ready for the awakening ceremony!"
Eleanor stopped smirking and looked at Cecil with doubt.
"Rea-"
*Ring*
Eleanor's question was quickly cut off by the bell ringing outside of the mansion.
Cecil exited Eleanor's room and looked at the door from the upper floors.
'Who is it?'
*Ring*
The doorbell rang again, causing Vivian to shout, "Coming!"
*Creak*
The door was slowly opened by Vivian and revealed two figures.
An extremely cute girl with black hair and golden eyes and a mature looking woman with pale blonde hair and black eyes.
Vivian hugged the mature woman for a few seconds before stepping back.
"Amanda, come inside."
Cecil watched all this with interest and curiosity while Eleanor looked at the black haired girl with hostility.
'So the mature woman is called Amanda...'
"Victoria..."
Cecil turned his head to the side and saw Eleanor clenching her fists tightly.
'Wait...Victoria?!'
Cecil quickly turned his head towards the black haired girl with shock and confusion.
'Wasn't she introduced later on? How is she here now?!', thought Cecil while staring intently at her.
Victoria Fallnaught. Another major character that tried to kill the Cecil because of a grudge.
As for what that grudge was?
Well...it was because he rejected her marriage proposal.
