CH970: Bogota Briefing
*
The greatest of follies is to sacrifice health for any other kind of happiness...

The SUV promptly left the International district.
After confirming they didn't have a trail, Olivia directed the way to the safehouse she mentioned.
-
About an hour later, the SUV arrived at a suburban area of the city. The community had a quiet, modern ambiance to it.
The vehicle stopped before a one-storey building.
"This is the place." Olivia said as she got out of the vehicle.
The Alphas kept their opinions to themselves and followed behind her into the house.
The house was tastefully decorated, giving it a charm of subtle elegance.
"Are you sure this is a safehouse? It looks more like an Airbnb apartment for tourists." Temitope said sceptically.
"That's because it is." Olivia smiled. "It's one of many I rented for my stay here in Bogota."
"What are you? A rabbit?"
AUTHOR’S RAMBLINGS
I injured my wrists some time ago. I thought they had completely healed but I somehow reinjured them which is why I haven’t posted in these two weeks or so. It was so bad even eating was painful. I was given the option of allowing them to heal (i.e. no typing or any other aggregating wrist motions) or potentially risking permanently damaging them.
That’s an easy decision, right?
Most of the pain is gone, and I can type again, albeit slower than usual. So, the releases will continue.
Sighs... That’s another item on my list of reoccurring health issues.
That aside, hope you enjoyed the chapter.
See you in the next chapter.
(Whenever that is...)
