Chapter 134: To be happy

Diane left right after her last warning.

I don't truly understand why she must have to bear the alpha's child to steal him from me.

For me, it was the most desperate thing in the world.

She had everything in her life. A wealthy, strong reputation. A pre-exquisite beauty and a world filled with greatness.

When Diane told me about her wicked plan, my entire body turned into a frozen meat.

But I tried my best to say a single word, yet nothing happened.

It was the worst response I'd ever gave to someone, and it made her laugh.

For her, it was a sign of being a loser. She didn't know silence sometimes means a lot compared to a noisy one.

I just let her say everything she wanted to say. If it were the only way to get rid of the pain she had felt, I'd embraced it with opened arms.
