Chapter 159: The Meet Up

Levi waited nervously in the private booth that he had booked. No matter how many times he had met Jasmine before, seeing her always felt a bit strange.

More so today. He had something that would pique her interest in her. He was unsure about what he was doing. All he had in mind was to get to the bottom of it all.

He needed to conclude his mission as soon as possible. The only way was to get other people's help. His intuition chose Jasmine after a lot of contemplation.

Maybe it had something to do with how they were related. He didn't know. He just felt exhausted. For almost twenty years, he had endured a lot of hardship to get to this point.

The weight of the tasks he wished to accomplish was already weighing him down. His sour ribs reminded him of that.

As he was deep in thoughts, he didn't realize that Jasmine just walked in. The girl looked around before she pulled out a chair and sat opposite the man.
