"....where's the progress you mentioned, quack?" Yaya rolled his eyes as he floated out of the university gate. He landed on Lai Jiayi's white t-shirt and flapped his wings. 

"..." Lai Jiayi slanted her lips and kept walking, ignoring the duck's question. 

"Hey, quack. I know you can hear me, quack!" Yaya asked again, flying away from Lai Jiayi's shoulder. 

This time he wanted to peck Lai Jiayi's neck, but Lai Jiayi abruptly stopped walking. Her grey, semi-transparent accordion skirt fluttered in the air as she turned around. 

"I told you, the result won't change so soon." Lai Jiayi poked Yaya's forehead before turning back and started walking again. 

The girl looked calm and collected, making Yaya could only pout when, in fact, she was secretly nervous inside. 

'F*ck! Is my method too cold? Should I not ignore him??' Lai Jiayi bit her lips and crumpled her skirt.
