"Am I worthy to be with someone like you?"
The question had took him by surprise, why would Paitoon ask such a thing. He held his hand.
"Paitoon.....what is making you think that?"
Paitoon didn't dare to answer him, he doesn't want to come across as insecure, especially about something so insignificant.
"It's nothing....I just had a rough few days"
Phichit tightened the grip on his hand and offered a soft smile.
"How about this, come with me to this gala maybe it will distract you"
"Oh...are you sure?"
"Yes"
He nodded making Phichit smile.
"I look forward for tonight"

He knocked on the door and Gan opened it looking sleepy.
"Sirichai? What are you doing here so early"
He frowned and looked at the time.
"Gan it's noon"
Gan sighed and opened the door wider.
"What brings you here?"
"I wanted to invite you to this gala I'll be hosting"
"Gala? Me? Are you serious?"
He chuckled and held up a brand new suit for him.
"I already bought this for you so you can't say no"
He groaned in frustration.
"Okay fine, come inside"
Now that he was welcomed here, he took the chance to look around, he assumed Gan and his brother lived alone since there were no grown ups around.
"My dad works in another town, my brother visits him on the weekends" Gan says, he had been looking at the older man look around.
"Oh...okay"
He sat down with a smile.
"So you're all alone?"
"Mn, do I offer you anything?"
"Water is fine"
Once he came back, Gan sat next to him focused on the TV.
Sirichai fiddled with his fingers
"Gan....do you think maybe we should....i don't know...date?"
Without missing a beat, he replied.
"I thought we were"
"We are?"
"I mean yeah, we've kissed, shared deep stories about ourselves, so why not"
Sirichai smiled and held Gan's hands.
"Can I have a kiss?"
Gan chuckled.
"Okay big boy"
Sirichai's eyes closed as he felt Gan's lips press onto his, he laid back down on the couch giving Gan the opportunity to deepen the kiss, their hands travelled each other's backs and hair, their breathless moans filled up the room.
Gan pulled away before things could get more heated. He smiled seeing Sirichai's darkened eyes.
"We shall pick up where we left off when the gala comes to an end"
Sirichai smiled and caressed Gan's cheek.
"I look forward to it"

The door opened and Earth smiled seeing his father.
"Hey dad, is....is mom home?"
"Yeah, she just arrived actually"
Earth looked at Preed who nodded.
"Preed wants to meet her"
Earth's father smiled, it seems this boy is more serious than he had first thought.
"Come in then, I'll go get her"
They entered the modern mansion, the decor was also modern, the couches white and the centre table made of glass.
"So this is where you live" Preed says before sitting down.
Earth chuckled.
"Yep, my parents bought this house from an older man who had to move after his children had left the nest"
"Interesting"
They heard two sets of footsteps coming down the stairs, the couple got to their feet.
Earth locked eyes with his mother, the hate they held made him flinch.
"So this is the little pest that you ran off to?" She spat sitting down.
Preed could only chuckle and sit down. The room fell into an awkward silence, Earth's mother shooting glares at everyone in the room.
"Mom, this is Preed, my boyfri-"
"Don't even think of finishing that sentence, boyfriend? Oh please, he looks poor and irresponsible to me"
Poor and irresponsible? That was just unfair for her to say.
"Actually he's ri-" he didn't get to finish his sentence because Preed squeezed his thigh silencing him.
"It doesn't matter if I'm poor or not, at least my two roomed apartment offers Earth what your big house can't"
She glared at him.
"And what is that?"
"Love"
His words had stunned her for a moment but she was quick to compose herself. A smug smile formed on her face.
"Really? Then i guess you'll find it easy to live with him then, Earth you ungrateful faggot you seize to live here from now on, get your things and get out of my house"
"Mum!"
"Dear that's not fair"
She looked at the two men in her life, fair?
"Fair? I'm not being fair? Really now, were you two fair when I had to sell my belongings including myself so you can have a meal for the night? Hm? Cat got your tongues?"
Earth was lost for words, he got up to head to his room when Preed stopped him.
"You did what a mother and wife had to do to take care of your family and I'm sorry you went through that but you ruining your son's life doesn't make you look good, you look selfish and self centered, Earth grab what you love the most in that room, I'll buy the rest for you"
"O-Okay"
Once Earth had went upstairs, Preed turned to the parents again.
"Earth has suffered alot because of you, he knew that him coming out will lead to this and yet he still did it why? Because he understands love, you make sacrifices that may break you but you'll heal at the end"
He slapped a card on the glass table.
"That's my family's last name, don't worry about Earth anymore, I'll take care of him and if you want to see him, you'll have to go through me first"
"All done"
Everyone turned to face Earth who held one item in his hands, a picture of him and Preed on their first date.
Preed shot the parents another glare before he smiled at Earth.
"Let's head home then, I'd say it was nice meeting you ma'am but I don't want to lie, Sir, thank you for the support of our relationship, we will head out now"
The door closed once they left. Earth's mother could only stare at the business card in her hand.
"I fucked up"
