Chapter 86: A choice to make.

NICK'S POV. 

I stare down at his body. He didn't seem to be moving. 

I was breathing heavily. I couldn't think straight, and I was sweating.

I had shot Miles. I had ended him. 

Although I wanted his death to be slow and painful, I lost control when he shot at Raven.

Shit.

I turn to where Raven laid and I saw Peter with her. He had a grim look on his face. 

"We have to get her to a hospital fast." He says and I slowly walk to them. "We're losing her."

....

I don't know how long it took to get to the hospital, but when we did get there, I got out if the car like I was burned. Each passing minute spent in that car felt like forever.

Raven was carried inside in a hurry. It felt like I had already lost her. I know I had carried her to the hospital many times and she came out alright, but this time it felt like I have lost her forever.
