Chapter 91: The Illusion Borthers: Origin

*Four Years Prior*

"Get my money back!" A booming voice called out to the sprinting figures in the distance.

Optic carried Wisp on his back and stared at the card in his hands with a surreal expression. They'd pulled it off, but it was at the cost of Wisp's arm. The hole shot through it wasn't small at all. Optic covered the wound with a piece of cloth and staggered towards their destination.

It wasn't easy anymore. When they were children and things like this happened all the time, it was easier since the other wasn't heavy. But now it was different. Wisp was older, he was 19 that year.

Optic puffed out tiredly. He wasn't sure the sweat that dripped down was from excitement or just plain exhaustion. It didn't matter though. He stopped at their base happily.
