Chapter 22: DOUDTS
One day later
"So, Are you prepared?" Calvin smiled and asked
"Yeah but—" Elsa stopped saying and took a deep breath
This is her first project where she is designing interiors for a company. Though she prepared the 3d design well, she is a little bit nervous and tensed. She doesn't want to mess it up and ruin the company image. She got to know that along with Calvin and Nick other board of directors will also be there in the meeting to finalize the design which made her shiver the most. What if she prepared bad design and Calvin snap at her in front of a board of directors? She doesn't want to ruin her own image before Calvin.
Calvin sighed and passed her a water bottle "Don't worry Elsa, I know you will rock the presentation."
"What if my design is worst? Will you snap me?" Elsa innocently asked
Calvin chuckled and said, "I don't think you will give me a chance to snap."
Elsa smiled and said, "Wish me good luck."
"All the best," Calvin said and walked away
Elsa sighed and started looked at her presentation all over again. She doesn't want to miss any detail and mess things up.

Calvin's office
"Nick, can you ask the board of directors to go easy with Elsa?" Calvin asked
When Nick gave him a 'what is going between you both?' look, Calvin cleared his throat and said "What? She is fresher and I don't want to scare her off."
"I am so happy because you are being generous boss but the main question is—"
Clearing his throat, Nick asked, "Are you generous only with Elsa?"
"No, why would i—"
Cutting Calvin off, Nick said, "You can't lie to me, Calvin Lewis."
"Fine, I don't want to see her in sad mode." Calvin sighed and said
"Why?" Nick asked
"She is—" Calvin stopped saying when Anna entered the office
"Boss, board of directors are waiting for you." Anna smiled and said
"Yeah, did you asked dad not to come?" Calvin asked
"Yes boss, I also sent them a bouquet as wishes for their wedding anniversary." Anna smiled and said
"That's good," Calvin said before walking outside along with Nick
"Did he say 'That's good for me? Oh my god, he is slowly turning towards my side." Anna excitedly said
"I wish I could become Mrs Lewis soon." Anna thought
Removing her company id card, she continued "I will throw this card and this job and enjoy the benefits of lady boss."

Meeting room
"Thank you for—" Calvin frowned when he looked at Samuel Lewis, Calvin's cousin talking to Elsa
Samuel Lewis is the only son of Calvin's uncle who died in the accident a few years ago. He was of Calvin's age and was known for his sly ways. He was a womaniser who never knows how to respect them except treating them as toys. Apart from womanizing, he is an arrogant rich spoiled brat and irritating.
Though Calvin hates him a lot and wanted to throw him out of the company, he never did it because he knew his father will back Samuel up. Since when Samuel's dad died, Arthur Lewis, Calvin's dad supported him and also made him one of the board of directors of the company. Though Arthur knows about his bad habits, he couldn't help but support because he trusted that today or the other Samuel will change for the good.
"Can I know your name?" Samuel smiled and asked
"Elsa Williams." Elsa smiled and said
Giving his card to Elsa, he said "I hope you will call me."
"But—"
"You need me in the future, Ms Elsa." Samuel winked his eyes at her and walked towards his seat
Elsa frowned when she understood the meaning of Samuel's words.
'How dare he is?' Elsa frowned and thought but she couldn't shout at him because she knew he is one of the board of director and if she snaps at him, her job would be at stake
Nick frowned when he looked at Calvin's burning face.
"Cal, he is just—"
"I won't mind killing him if he tries to do something wrong with Elsa." Calvin scoffed before walking towards his seat
"Wait, what is happening here? I never looked Calvin in such an anger mode? Is he really falling for Elsa?" Nick helplessly shook his head and thought
"Ms Elsa Williams, Are you ready?" Calvin smiled and asked
"Yes, boss." Elsa smiled and said before turning her presentation on
She then took a deep breath and started explaining her plan. From how the entrance of the office should be renovated to the CEO office, everything was perfectly designed and planned.
Calvin who was mesmerised with the beauty before him couldn't help but stare at her. She looked so awesome when she confidently explained things and the way she bit her lips when she couldn't find words and excitement in her face when she found the exact words she is looking for.
"So, These are the things I want to renovate and you can also see the 3d design." Elsa smiled and said
"Your presentation is—"
Cutting Calvin off, Samuel stood up and said "Your presentation is awesome but I have a little bit of doubts."
"Yes boss, you can ask me anything." Elsa smiled and said
Samuel then walked towards her and held her hand "Wow, your hand is so soft Ms. Elsa Williams."
"Boss, this—" Elsa frowned and tried to retrieve her hand back when he tightened his grip around her
"My doubts are very lengthy one, I think the board of directors have less time. So, why don't you come to my cabin and—"
"That's it." Calvin slammed the table and shouted which scared the shit out of the people you were sitting in the meeting room
