Chapter 54: 54. Unexpected Attack

Majer had touched her magic compass, which was glowing and emitting light. Then, the portal door began to open. Majer prepares to go inside there.

She turned to Baron, who seemed hesitant to enter.

"Come on, Baron. We have to get out of here immediately."

"I haven't said goodbye to Victoria," said Baron.

"There's no more time. We have to get the hell out of here before something worse happens."

Majer looked at Baron meaningfully until Baron complied. Baron had to explain everything to Victoria after they met one day again.

"Okay. Let us …"

Suddenly an electric shot hit Majer, sending her flying three meters away. The portal door immediately closed and disappeared.

"Majer!" Baron shouted.

He ran toward Majer, but before he got there, an electric strike shot and nearly hit him in the head if Baron didn't dodge quickly. He looked back to see the source of the shot.
