Chapter 65: Gaining a Queen.

We took a few minutes to examine the newest spider companions, Shorunt says that he felt Vexsus mark on them so I can only assume that he tamed them. I could see the uses now that I've had a chance to calm down for a second, if these things can create the threads that stopped us dead in our tracks then we would have a great addition to our defense around the Base.

At the same time Kitsoma could only see Dollar signs as she thought the same thing except her thoughts were more along the lines of using the thread to make clothes and sell it.

"Shorunt are you able to communicate with them? Can they show us where Vexsus is." I shook my head to clear away the distraction and refocus on the rescue.

"Yes I can, but only slightly, it's like I'm trying to communicate through a thick barrier, only a few thoughts or even feelings are getting processed. But I'm making headway hold on."
