Mr. and Mrs. Zhang stared at each other with a meaningful gaze. They felt deeply insulted by Sofia's words. 'How dare this young teen speak like she is superior to them? She, herself, does not have a good family background too!'

"Ahaha!... Hahaha," Mr. Zhang suddenly laughed as he come to realize something. "This girl talks like she is someone with great authority. What gives you the confidence of speaking to us like that? We are a successful family. And you? Hehe..." the man purposely trailed his words while facing Sofia with a subtle smirk on his face. He did not need to finish what he wanted to say. It could easily be implied by his tone.

"You defend the girl because you are like her. But what potential do you have? A commoner. " Mrs. Zhang added.

"Mom! Dad!" Clark called them. He wanted to say something. But there were no words to express his emotions. He could only call his parents and hope for them to act like the decent professionals they usually do.
