Chapter 115: 115. Where Is The King's Body?

After Darian hugged Charlotte twice, the girl remained silent. Then Darian held Charlotte's chin to lift her lover's face to look at him.

"Why are you silent? Have I done anything wrong?" Asked the man who was a little confused.

"You didn't ask how I and my family were doing, Darian. You didn't ask how I was doing all this time." Charlotte said. The girl had not smiled at all since then.

Darian was stunned, now he realized that he wasn't worried about Charlotte at all. What's with him?

"But you're fine. Did you manage to hide behind the waterfall?"

"I was fine and I managed to hide there. But my mother and sister are not okay. Both of their hands were injured from the attack in the middle of the night. Both of their hands were crushed by a large rock because Sergio threw the stone at them ." Charlotte said.

Darien was silent. He didn't know what to do.
