Chapter 50: 50. Back To Being A Good Friend

Darian smiled slightly. "I'm just taking my day off. I'm tired, but that doesn't mean I'm sick, princess."

Darian's words sounded rather firm and not gentle as usual. Ariadne recognizes Darian's indifference.

"Emm, Darian. Can't we be like we used to be? At least, you'll stay close to me and be my best friend."

At the sound of Ariadne's words, Darian fell silent. What Marlyn said turned out to be true. Ariadne has been looking for Darian's whereabouts and now they're meeting by accident.

Ariadne smiled. "If I can't continue to feel like I love you, then I want to be friends with you. After all, you've been very kind to me since I was a kid. You've always protected me without me asking. You've always been there for me. I'm sorry if I didn't know how you felt first. If only I'd known earlier, then this marriage wouldn't have happened." Said Ariadne.
