Chapter 5: Monsters Everywhere.
Now that ray was on the third floor, he looked around and checked the ceilings to see if anything had crashed in, thankfully there weren't any signs of anything doing so
Ray then heard the sound of footsteps, he turned his head to see where it was coming from, and he was both happy and relieved to see that his sister was safe with the 2nd years,. They were being led by two teachers, and both classes seemed to have grouped up
When the teacher noticed ray, he seemed relieved, and it didn't take long for them to reach him. The moment they arrived, before the teacher got to say anything, Tina rushed out of the group and jumped on to Ray
"S-Sis?" Said Ray startled by her sudden action
"Thank god..." she muttered as tears streamed down her face, strengthening the hug with each second that passed
Ray slowly pushed her away as he didn't want to keep the second years waiting any longer, it was the first time he had ever seen his sister cry that much, and although he felt like it shouldn't, it made him slightly happy
"What's the situation on the 2nd floor?" Asked the teacher after ray and his sister had finished their reunion
Without wasting any time, Ray answered right away.
"We've barricaded all entrances to the second floor"
The moment ray said that, the expression on the teachers face changed from a relieved to a worried one
"What happened to those on the first floor?"
Ray had expected this question to arrive sooner than later
"Those in the first floor are-"
Before ray could finish, something fell on the ceiling near them, and caused it to collapse. A loud sound of something breaking could be heard, while rubble dust was sent everywhere
Ray looked around and checked to see if anyone had gotten injured. Luckily the ceiling had collapsed far enough to prevent anyone from getting hurt.
As the dust started to disperse, a Red figure could be seen on the ground
"Stand back!" Shouted the teacher as he stretched out his hand
"No, everyone, go down the stairs." Said ray as he stood there and watched the giant red figure
Without saying anything, no one moved as if they weren't sure what to do
"What are you waiting for? You heard the boy. Go!" Said The other teacher who heard this. The 2nd years did as he said and rushed down the stairs, They were pushing and shoving, without a hint of care for those around them.
The only ones left on that floor, were the two teachers, ray and his sister.
"What are you doing ray?" Tina asked
Ray however couldn't hear her, or rather, his attention was completely on the red figure which had just fallen. It wasn't moving and seemed to have died, yet there was still a light lit up in it's eyes
Letting his curiosity get the better of him, ray approached the red monster. It's frame was twice no three times his size, it's face was hard to perceive or understand, it was contorted making it almost seem like a demon
It didn't have a weapon near it but that didn't mean it was any less dangerous. With his guard up, ray got closer and closer, until he was eventually only a few feet away.
Normally, ray would never attempt something so risky, but he felt as if he had to do this, he didn't know why but he was getting a vague feeling of déjà vu.
"The dream I had this morning..." He muttered before taking another step towards it
The monster which laid on the ground, began to slowly move it's hands towards Ray, as if killing him was the most important thing on it's mind. Ray who saw this, felt infuriated...
"This is for the third years..."
Ray then bent back his leg, and swung it straight at the monsters face. "This is for the teachers..." Said ray before kicking it's face again
Even if it wanted to, it couldn't fight back. The fall must have broken all of it's bones as it could only move it's arm
"And this..."
Ray stretched out his leg as far back as he could. "This is for... Turning our life into hell..." he then swung his leg with all of his power straight at the face of the red monster
The monster's hand started to tremble as if it was dying, and at the same moment, he examined it, he was trying to get a better understanding of how these monsters worked, how he could kill them, anything that would be a weakness to them
But before he could finish his examination, his sister suddenly pulled him from behind as she said "Run!". His sister's sudden action caused him to snap back into reality, and in that moment, he did as she said
They ran towards the stair case where the teachers were, in that moment, part of the ceiling collapsed around where the hole caused by the monster was. crushing its head on the process.
But by the time that had happened, Ray and Tina had already reached the staircase where the two teachers were.
"What were you thinking!? What will venting out your anger on that thing accomplish?" She asked with a worried expression
Ray knew she had a point, not to mention she had just saved him, so he knew that he didn't have any right to argue back.
"I'm sorry, I know that was reckless but I had to find a weakness... How else are we going to get out of this place? If we can't fight back, what's going to happen to us? We'll all starve to death on the 2nd floor while we wait for help to arrive?"
Both teachers and his sister listened carefully as ray said with a determined look "They can be demons, monsters, Fallen angels for all I care... I'm not just going to sit back and watch as my new life turns to hell. I've done enough of that to last a lifetime."
Without him even realising, his words had deeply affected both the teachers and his sister. But The instant ray said that, a robotic voice resounded in his head

At the same time, ray felt an unbelievable amount of pain on his head
"GAAAAH!" He screamed in pain as he grabbed on to his head, putting pressure on it, doing anything he could to stop it from hurting
"R-Ray! What's wrong?! Ray!"
Ray's vision was turning blurry, his head was pounding

The instant that message was over, the pain stopped, and his vision gradually returned to him
"I-I'm fine..." Said ray while panting heavily
