Prince Eric's room was the Captain's cabin. After the sailors brought me in, they immediately got out and chained the door from the outside. I still tried to pry it open, but my efforts were futile. I sighed. I was truly locked in.

I closed my eyes. I could feel tears coming as I recalled my time at Labyrinth. The musicians' silliness, Paco's gentleness, Neville's cooking… all of them… especially my Jacob's smirks and gazes… his touches and his kisses. I opened my eyes abruptly and wiped my tears away. I have to escape! I have to get away from here.

I examined the Captain's cabin. There should be a weapon here somewhere. I need a gun or a dagger or a sword… anything! So, I began my search right away. To my dismay, the only thing I found was a letter opener. Surely, Eric was not naive and if he planned this ahead of time, then he will make sure that I won't have anything to defend myself with.
