Chapter 179: Him

He still couldn't find what he was looking for

Houston knew that he had to go back and talk with Ambrose about everything that he had found out. This was turning into a much bigger thing than what he had originally expected.

There was still a lot that he was going to need to do, but he knew that he would need extra hands to get through it all. He hoped that Ambrose would be the one who would be able to provide that for him. 

The detective was just going to have to make sure he sold it in such a way that his current boss would understand the importance of putting more people towards the job that Houston was working on. 

It was only one day but he felt like he might have actually been able to get somewhere with this case if he had the right amount of support. 

The map took longer than Houston expected to go over it, but the woman was very detailed. Despite how many years ago the incident had happened, she still remembered a lot.
