Kalon froze as he didn't know what to say as Mary began to inspect the axe for any damages while waiting for him to reply, but she looked back up towards him when she saw that he didn't answer.

"Well?" She asked while expecting an answer. She was impressed by how he had managed to catch the axe when Vincent had clearly meant to harm him when he threw it towards Kalon.

"U-Uhm, a friend taught me, but she had to go away for a while, so she told me to go here and become stronger," Kalon replied simply as he didn't want to go into too much detail about the things that Roah had told him since he knew that if anyone found out that she had taught him, she would get into trouble with her teacher.
