Chapter 1167: One Giant "X" marks the spot

Following a formula, a warrior must gather aether and condense it into a ring that will surround their soul.

There are known as ranking rings.

Then, once five rings have been gathered, a warrior must then condense them into a singular band referred to as a stage ring.

While this process can technically be done in any location under any circumstances, it's been widely confirmed that every formula in existence has an ideal location and condition in mind to facilitate a breakthrough.

For example, many Aquarii based formula prefer their practitioners perform their breakthroughs in areas rich in water while many Terraqi formulas demand a specific landscape when breaking through.
