Chapter 81: Chance Has Sickness?

Brenda kept babbling every word that came out from that little mouth, giving lecture from possible changes at a sudden come back of Chance. However, Alyssum caught the attention, lifted her eyes towards the main door and saw Chance greeted their classmates. 

As expected, he was still gorgeous as a Greek God. His hazelnut brown eyes were decisive as a brewed coffee from the shop, giving the strength to heave the mood. His smile was shining like rays from the sun. It made her fall for it although that smile was for someone else. 

And as Alyssum mesmerized by his presence, their eyes locked to each other, widened through his gaze and suddenly backed away. She perceived the possible chances could soften a frigid heart. 

She was too embarrassed by his intense gaze they shared. It was too arduous to handle since her feelings would never change. And so, she heaved a deep sigh, accepting the defeat from a sudden battle and letting it be.
