Jasmine was taken aback. "I'm not…"

When she met Bardumond's gaze behind Narilia, she bit her lip to stop herself from completing her statement.

Narilia grabbed onto the bars with tears running down her face. "Sis, I thought I'd lost you."

Jasmine felt guilty seeing her crying over her when she wasn't who she was being mistaken to be. When Narilia grabbed onto her hand and hugged it like her life depended on it, she couldn't take it anymore. She wanted to tell her the truth.

But instead, she raised her hand and wiped the tears off Narilia's face. Her eyes stung too and her heart shattered.

"Narilia, she's still in pain." Bardumond reminded her gently.

"Oh." Narilia let go of Jasmine's hand. "Could you come closer, sis?" She asked.

Jasmine moved closer for Narilia to inspect the wound.
