Chapter 100: Jasmine is mine! (Stay away from her)

Dairon passed the letter to her and she placed her cup down to take it with a frown. She skimmed through the contents and looked up. "King Rian wants to meet both of us tomorrow."

He didn't look fazed. "Okay. I can postpone the plans I had for tomorrow.

Thinking that he might have forgotten, she gave a subtle reminder. "I think it's about what happened to Pearl."

His expression didn't change in the slightest as he nodded.

Her mouth opened but she didn't know what to say. How could he be so indifferent about it? If they were being summoned, it was definitely because King Rian suspected him too.

Since it didn't faze him, she didn't let it faze her either. Maybe he had a plan to wiggle out. Or maybe he was confident that he would not be punished. When they finished breakfast, Dairon said that he had something to do and disappeared into the sea. She glanced at the calm sea after his departure and wondered what he was up to.
