Chapter 70: Homeroom Period

"Any volunteers?"

What a pain in the ass... I don't like responsibilities...

When Arita-sensei announced that, none of the people in the room raised their hands. Upon seeing this, Arita-sensei furrowed her eyebrows.

"No one?"

No one spoke, nor even looking at Arita-sensei, we're all averting or trying to avoid her eyes. She then started scanning the entire class and ended up in my spot. Then our eyes met each other, which I completely don't want.

"How about you, Okita?"

Instead of speaking, I shook my head sideways quickly, indicating that I'm rejecting it. There's no way I'm going to be a class representative. I've heard that it will force me to lead the class when festivals come. I'm not the type of guy who can handle responsibilities or lead people. It will be tremendous stress in my brain if Arita-sensei gave that role to me.

"You sure? I think you're fit for the role. It's not a one man's job, there'll be two class representatives; one boy and one girl."
